INTROSPECTION - everything wrong with society - the boundary of belief

"Belief is bondage. It means accepting something as if it is a core of own existence. Once identified with that, one will find it hard to see beyond that. Something which I call the "Sniper Syndrome". People want to find the minutest details of something, not realising that by doing so they end up looking through a microscope. While the beauty and intricacy of one thing will be superb, especially to the mind whose purpose in times of pain/ frustration/ stress/ anxiety (or all) shall seek only distraction, what people won't realise is that the scope they are looking through already restricts them vision in any other angle :) So a vision means looking in just one way (tunnel vision) thus forsaking everything else. While it can be useful when focusing on doing just one thing, binding self into such a bondage can also be detrimental. Especially if done impulsively!"
Don't forget that ancient societies and tribal communities would use binding by belief as a means to keep people close. This always stemmed from the fear of remaining alone, therefore insecure and weak in the face of nature and adversity!
