Harmeet Dhillon: "It's a huge deal and I'm very excited. Now, Elon Musk, like you said, is taking a big risk by doing this. He's putting a target on his back act. He's already done that.My perspective has been that Twitter is so important to the public discourse here.I've actually sued Twitter on two occasions for two people with radically different political views, but both of whom were censored.Megan Murphy was censored for stating truths about transgender people coming into women's bathrooms and spaces and creating threats. And Rogen O'Hanley was censored by our California government using a biden vendor to take down his accurate speech questioning certain aspects of the 2020 election.

Many of our other clients have been censored. You mentioned Project veritas.Tulsi Gabbard is shadow banned, so many of us.And so I love the First Amendment and happy to see that the new owner of Twitter does as well. And I think that some of the things that he needs to do to immediately restore confidence in the value of this platform is, like he said, to open up the algorithms to stop the shadow banning, to really open up and publish the records of all attempts by governments,by private corporations, by politicians, to ask for censorship. We should all know what happened.

And transparency is the first step to resolving the public trust in this very important platform. So even though I'm suing, I would love to see these improvements be made and all of the noises he's making so far.Yesterday's terminations of the most egregious anti speech executives at Twitter is a major first step. And now I hope Elon Musk hires the right people, that's people are policy. It's going to be very important for him to make sure that the new leaders of Twitter discard all of these bad old policies. And then I think it is an absolutely open horizon for free speech on the Internet now."
