Live: Reporter Horrified when Motorcyclist Cartwheels OVER Car at 130 MPH

Now to the video. As they say in the media, the risks of airing live stories is that anything can happen and boy does it in this video. It's dumb enough to flee police on a motorcycle at high speeds in heavy traffic. It's even dumber when you do so 130 MPH. Many who participate in these types of chases are younger guys full of adrenaline, testosterone and have the dangerous (and mistaken) feeling of invincibility.

As the saying goes; play stupid games, win stupid prizes and this poor soul did both. He unfortunately not only nominated himself for a Darwin Award, he also valiantly claimed his prize in a spectacular fashion. Please know that I am not mocking loss of life as it's truly sad that this man died. We all do, and have done, very STUPID and dangerous things. throughout our lives. Therefore, recognizing that I live in a glass house, I'm not going to throw stones. The rider's actions were truly reckless, stupid and DUMB. However it's truly sad that his poor decision cost him his life.

The video isn't really graphic, but it does show his motorcycle striking a car after which his body then cartwheels over the top of it and ends with him being mid-air. It is said that he was thrown 100 ft down the road, and that would be considered "leaving the scene of an accident" had he survived. Just sayin... Lastly, there were other versions that didn't include comment from any reporters, but I chose this because I think her reaction adds important context and is how many of us felt after seeing this.
