"For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." Romans 5:6
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

These are two verses from God's Word that tells us about the death of Christ, and who it was for. Christ died for sinners, Christ died for the ungodly, but most importantly and personally, Christ died for us.

God is eternal and yet our time in this life will come to an end. Will will you be for the unending eternity? God is holy and in Him is no sin. You have sinned and your sins make you an enemy of God.

God knows everything about you, including all of your sinful deed and thoughts, and judgment is coming. The good news of the gospel is that you can be saved. Would you like to be ready to meet Him?

God is love, and He loves you. He has proven His love by the depths of suffering that Christ has endured, in order for you to be saved. Upon the cross, He died for sinners. What does that mean to you personally?

Are you willing to come to Him as a guilty sinner and receive Him by faith?
