Paul and Kris Ciaccia are faithful Catholics in the Diocese of Scranton, PA, married 29 years, parents of 7 children, and blessed with 3 grandchildren.  Twice in two different dioceses, their children were put in harm's way with priests who had abused children. In both cases, the bishops knew of their past predatory behavior.   "We have spoken with many different people about the current situation in the Church," Kris explains, "and we found people either didn’t know, didn’t care, or thought that the abuse scandal was from long ago."

"We no longer trust that our bishops will protect their flock," Kris continues. "So, we started a podcast." Their podcast is called, "The Angry Catholic."

Each week the Ciaccia’s podcast features informed, compelling and thought-provoking guests who share their insights about the clergy abuse crisis facing the Catholic Church.   "We cannot  stand by and let our bishops wait out the storm," Kris concludes.  "We need to demand that they right the ship."
