"Forget" means "to be unable to remember something".

Example #1 (Past Simple): I forgot my pen at home. Can I borrow yours?
Example #2 (Present Perfect): Have you forgotten that you had an appointment?
Example #3 (Present Perfect Continuous): I have been forgetting to apply conditioner and now my dandruff has come back.
