In this tutorial I will show you how I make a leather satchel.

This cross body bag has an inside sleeve that fits an iPad or everyday essentials.

It has also an adjustable strap for shoulder.

SHOULDER STRAP: 40.6” the longest piece (103 cm)

MATERIALS
BODY: 5.4 sq ft (0.5 sqm) 6 oz (2.4 mm) leather
INSIDE SLEEVE: 2.5 oz (1 mm) leather
STRAPS: 8 oz (3.2 mm) vegetable tanned leather
1 mm waxed thread
edge dye

HARDWARE
3 X 25 mm buckles
2 x 25 mm D rings
2 LOXX (or Sam Browne studs)
2 x 25 mm snap hooks

1.5 mm hole punch
cutting mat
