How to Make a Leather Hip Bag (Link to PDF Pattern in Description)

This is how I made a hip bag with two pockets that can be worn on a belt. This fanny pack is comfortable to wear and accommodates all your daily items, including your phone and wallet. This pouch is helpful when attending a festival, going on a trip or shopping.

DIMENSIONS
FRONT POCKET:
Height: 7” (18 cm)
Length: 4.7" (12 cm)
Width: 1.4” (3.5 cm)
BACK POCKET (inside):
Height: 7.5” (19 cm)
Length: 6.3" (16 cm)

MATERIALS
4.5-5 oz (1.8-2 mm) semi rigid leather (I used a latigo leather) You can make 3 hip bags from around 11 sq ft (1 sqm)
Largest piece is 8.3/7.9" (21/20 cm)
1 mm waxed thread
edge dye

HARDWARE
1 magnetic snap

TOOLS
cutter
needles
1.5 mm hole punch
cutting mat
mallet
