How to Make a Round Leather Coin Pouch (link to PDF Pattern in Description)

In this tutorial I will show you how I make a round leather coin pouch.

This project will make a good use of scraps of leather you might have as you can make variations from different colors of leather that will always look awesome. You will need some minimal tools like a hole punch, a cutting mat, a mallet, needles and a cutter.

MATERIALS
BODY: 0.8-1.2 mm (2-3 oz) goat leather or other flexible leather
CONTRAST LEATHER: 1.5 mm (4 oz) vegetable tanned leather
0.8 mm waxed polyester thread
edge dye

ACCESSORIES
1 snap fastener

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
cutter
1 mm hole punch (or pricking irons or diamond chisels)
needles
mallet
cutting pad
