How to Make a Leather Camera Case (with PDF Pattern)

In this video we will make a leather camera case that can be used also as an everyday bag. This cross body bag is lined with leather and stiffener.

SPECIFICATIONS
- Adjustable shoulder strap
- Wings for protecting the content of the bag

DIMENSIONS
Height: 11 cm (4.3”)
Length: 14 cm (5.9”)
Width: 7 cm (2.95”)

MATERIALS
- BODY: around 2.7 sq f (0.25 sqm) 3-3.5" oz (1.2-1.4 mm). The longest piece is the strap: 45" (115 cm). The body has around 18/7" (45/17 cm) and some smaller parts (the gussets and the wings).
- LINING: 1.5-2" oz (0.6-0.8 mm) pigskin
- LEATHER STIFFENER
- 1 mm waxed polyester thread
- edge dye
- leather glue
- 1 mm waxed polyester thread
- edge dye
- cardboard and paper masking tape (for assembling the pattern)

HARDWARE
- 1 metal press push lock
- 1 x 0.79” (20 mm) buckle
- 2 x 0.79” (20 mm) D rings

- 1.5 mm hole punch
- cutting mat
- mallet
- printer
