The time is upon us as a nation that we are going into harder times than we have ever known. We are going to be met with incredible challenges that will test everyone's faith "of what sort it is."

Most of us have struggled through life and know what it means to be strong. We've prayed and stood by faith in the word of God and conquered. We have learned how to lean upon the everlasting arm of the Lord, and came out of the wilderness "leaning upon our Lover."

However, the days that are rapidly approaching are days we are not used to. It could very well be that we might find ourselves without strength or power to stand under these looming catastrophes.

In the very final days right before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the antichrist armies will surround Jerusalem. Within the city there will be "a few inhabitants left in it," and they who are "feeble among them shall be as David."

In that Day God will give them supernatural power to fight like David did when he killed a lion, a bear, and Goliath. Along with these men, it says the Lord will "defend them and be with them."

You see, there is a strength only God can give us to stand with confidence in the evil days ahead. And to know that as God was with David, and Who will be with the inhabitants of Jerusalem future, then He will be with us. I believe we also will be given power to stand and "spiritually" fight in prayers and supplications unto God.

When Jacob was blessing his children, he spoke these words over Asher, "Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be." Deut. 33:24.

We can depend on the Lord to do the same for us as them and have confidence in Him. "He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

“Cowards never won heaven. Do not claim that you are begotten of God and you have His royal blood running in your veins unless you can prove your lineage by His heroic spirit: to dare to be holy in spite of men and devils.” ― William Gurnall
