Dismals Canyon in Alabama Is an Awesome Must See Day Trip Destination

We absolutely loved this place. It has a cool general store to grab gifts and t-shirts at, and while you're at it you can also grab lunch and a milkshake at their little diner.

Be ready to get your feet wet if you do come. You will want to walk in the water for sure. Once you take the winding stairs down into the canyon the temperature changes and it feels like you're in a cool, damp jungle. I believe we spent around four hours or more exploring all the nooks and crannies of this unusual place.

I highly recommend visiting this place. We will most definitely be going back!

And.....I'm sorry half of the video is in portrait mode. I honestly know better and I guess in the excitement of the place I just paid little attention to how I was holding the camera ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
