🟥 Ban on LGBT propaganda.

The State Duma has unanimously passed in its first reading a package of laws banning the promotion of non-traditional sexual relationships.

▪️ Distribution of film licenses for films that promote non-traditional sexual relationships and preferences is prohibited

▪️Advertisements and publications in the media that reveal and promote non-traditional sexual attitudes and preferences are prohibited.

▪ It will require the entry of codes or other measures to verify age before accessing prohibited information for children

▪️ Three administrative articles will be formulated for this purpose:

1. liability for propagating pedophilia (fines of up to 800,000 rubles for citizens, up to 10 million for organizations, and expulsion also for foreigners)

2. punishment for disseminating descriptions or images of non-traditional sexual relations or preferences among minors (fines of up to 200,000 rubles for citizens, up to 4 million rubles for organizations, and expulsion also for foreigners)

3. a ban on any propaganda of unconventional sexual attitudes/preferences, not only among minors (fines could be increased from 100,000 to 400,000 rubles for citizens and from 1 million to 5 million rubles for organizations)
