Skid, a vaudeville performer, and Bonny, a specialty artist, meet, fall head over heels, and wed. As a parody dance group they play the circuit until Slide gets a proposal from a Broadway headhunter. Bonny remaining parts "out and about" while Slide, a sensation in New York, continues an undertaking with Sylvia Marco, a past love interest in a similar show. Mindful that Slide is untrustworthy, Bonny chooses to separate from him and wed rich farmer Harvey Howell. Incapable to happen without Bonny, Slide starts to drink intensely, and he loses his employment. Bonny returns and assists Slip with strolling through the principal execution of his new position.
