Late October garden with strawberries??

We had some cold and even a bit of snow last week while we were on vacation in Alabama. I was surprised that not everything in the garden is dead! We still have some peppers, some mini-cabbages sprouting from where I cut off the heads, lettuce, and--strawberries?? Well, that's a first for me!
