Dry Shampoo Recalled for Cancer Causing Chemical

Over 1.5M dry shampoo products recalled in Canada over cancer risk

In the US Unilever is issuing a voluntary recall of select products, per the FDA. Brands like dove, tresemme, and bedhead are found to be carrying carcinogenic chemical called benzene. Benzene is known to cause several forms of cancer including leukemia and blood cancers. It is harmful to the eyes, skin, airway, nervous system, and lungs and guess what? Benzene is also found in other products including some of your favorite store bought candles.
