Curved Swords are a type of Weapon in Elden Ring. Curved Swords specialize in Slash-based attacks, being capable of inflicting a decent amount of damage towards hostile characters without sacrificing mobility. They can also attack much more quickly than many other melee Weapons in Elden Ring, making them excellent against fast moving opponents. Curved Swords, like Thrusting Swords, have a back step feint. While charging up a heavy attack, pressing Dodge will cancel the attack and instead back step. Curved Swords can use most Ashes of War, but not those that require Pierce Damage, since they cannot deal that damage type.

As Tarnished—exiles from the Lands Between who lost the Ring's grace and are summoned back after the Shattering, players must traverse the realm to ultimately find all the Great Runes, restore the Elden Ring, and become the Elden Lord.
