June cabin update, drawing water from pond for irrigation, and high wind storm with tree damage!

Cabin visit to try to use a new Predator 2 inch trash pump to irrigate a hillside where we have trees and wildflowers planted next to our pond. We got it to run two sprinklers with some success. Improvements to come. Then Lisa rode around the property to check on some of our seedlings planted recently. Then a sudden high wind storm had us packing up to leave. No thunder, lightning or rain at all but just high winds after an extremely hot week. We came back the next day to find many damaged trees on our land. Stay tuned for a lot of chainsaw work to come!
