Weber Smokey Mountain Vortex Chicken Wings

Ingredients -

1 - Pack Family Sized Chicken Wings
1 - Bottle of Italian Seasoning/Dressing
BBQ Rubs of choice, used Texas SPG and Touch Of Cherry Rub on these wings.
BBQ Sauce f your choice.

Directions -

Cut up the Chicken wings into Drumsticks and Flats, and get rid of the wing tips.

Place in plastic sealable bag and pour in the Italian Season/Dressing and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Pull out and rub down the wings with the SPG Rub and Touch Of Cherry Rub.

Fire up the Vortex on the WSM and let it get well heated up.

Place the Chicken Wings around the outside of the WSM and not directly over the Vortex.

Check wings every 15 minutes, and after 30 minutes flip the wings over.

Let go for another 15 minutes and then check internal temp of the Wings.

I was looking for at least 190-195 degrees internal, after 45 minutes the internal temps were up for 175-185 and the added the BBQ Sauce to the wings, and flipped them over and added more BBQ Sauce to the wings.

Let the wings go for another 5 minutes with the BBQ Sauce on them and the pulled the off, and let them rest for about 10-15 minutes.

These wings turned out great and were super delicious.
