Guam to become real United Airlines hub again 🇺🇸

United Airlines has announced it will add flights from Guam to several destinations in Japan in July and August 2022. Flights to Osaka have been resumed already, while flights to Nagoya will start August 1, Fukuoka August 4 and Tokyo Narita will see increased frequency of flights.

The thing is, Japan is still pretty much closed for regular travel and tourism, unless you prefer to have a North-Korea style holiday with a limited-sized group tour that has actual minders with it, as you should not try and explore Japan by yourself right now!

Another sad thing is that the United lounge at Guam is still closed. It closed at the outbreak of the pandemic and is now still having major renovation works being done.
