'Dissenting opinion': Democrats retract letter calling for direct negotiations with Russia

Kosha Gada says 30 Democrats retracting a letter calling for a change in the US' strategy towards the Russia-Ukraine conflict seems to show an "intolerance for dissenting opinion".
The Democrats had signed a letter urging President Joe Biden to directly negotiate with Russia, but it has been retracted.
"This is a conflict that's escalating, and it is inherently unpredictable as conflicts necessarily are, and there are a lot of players on this chessboard, but seen and unseen," Ms Gada told Peta Credlin.
"It's actually showing a complete disregard or intolerance for dissenting opinion or even diverging opinion on what should be done from that, so that's why they retracted it right away."
