Meditate.. Letting go of Fear and Stepping into Confidence. My name is Kolae Perkins. Letting go of fear. Picture this Lady's she has her hands on her face she doesn't know what to do. She's frozen, she doesn't feel safe and she just wants to hide. Then we have this picture of this cute little kitty looking in the mirror and seeing something so much bigger than itself. To go from a place of fear, to a place of confidence is what we want to see happen. First we need to talk a little bit about fear. What it is, how it's been defined, and how we can change that definition to work for you. Instead of against you. The old definition is: A feeling that you might die or be hurt in some way. Sensing that something bad is about to happen. Anticipation of danger. A feeling of alarm. We anticipate, we think there's danger and therefore we do not act. We feel fear, then we don't act. Let's redefine this definition to, Doing something that will physically hurt my body. Something about that there are things that I can do that would physically hurt myself. I might want to avoid like jumping off a cliff without a parachute, walking out in front of a car without looking. That doesn't mean that I can’t still cross the street that doesn't mean I can't climb down the cliff it means that need to have precautions. So that I can still accomplish those things. I would never jump out of an airplane without a parachute, but with a parachute you could jump out and land safely . We want to be aware of what could hurt us and then take the necessary safety precautions. Fear allows us to look deeper at what we are not. Too often we have you just said no, to anything that is fearful we feel that are not possible.With the right safety precautions and by changing the definition of fear. We can recognize those fears and put some protections in place. Doing so will allow us to move into new areas in our life. We have four bodies of health. You have the physical body, the mental or thought body, the emotional body, and the spiritual body. Knowing what happens to our 4 bodies can help us quickly recognize the fear and move through it. We're going to do a 3-month minute meditation, 3 layer Meditation.
