Minions The Rise of Gru opens with over $200M in worldwide box office on a paltry $85M production budget. Meanwhile Lightyear maintains a death spiral, still after 17 days in release unable to reach $200M at the worldwide box office with a $200M production budget, almost 2.5 times that of Minions Rise of Gru.

Disney has some serious problems in their TWO animation studios, and might be high time Disney looks to cut costs drastically and consolidate the duplicative entities, particularly when nobody can tell the movies apart anymore.
