Iran has been gripped by weeks of demonstrations and violent crackdowns sparked by the death of 22-year-old Iranian-Kurdish woman Jina Mahsa Amini while in police custody.
Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people around the world, from Tokyo to Berlin to Vancouver, have rallied in recent weeks in solidarity with the country’s protest movement.
But is Iran’s hardline government listening?
