Why am I correct to be Catholic instead of Orthodox or any of the 30k denominations? because truth is objective. Beauty is objective. Good and evil are objective. Protestant churches, aka non-Catholic Churches, are super varied when it comes to the teachings, some allow condoms, some teach that all it takes to be saved is to believe, some teach that we’re not supposed to bring religion into politics, etc. While there are some based Protestant churches, you can see that clearly, there’s a lot of subjectiveness despite going off of the Bible alone. So the complete truth can’t be with the Protestant ideology. What about Orthodox churches? While they may be more based than the average Protestant Church, one Orthodox church might say “no condoms”, while another Orthodox Church says “they’re permitted if you’re married” and still be considered an “orthodox Church”. but then you get the Catholic Church that says “contraception is an intrinsic evil” and every Church that’s Catholic must submit to that teaching. There’s no “well I disagree because I interpret the Bible different-” no, you’re objectively committing heresy and the Pope has full authority to excommunicate you or any priests that preach heresy. That is objective teaching. That is truth. That is orthodox. No other church has THAT hierarchy. Not “orthodox” churches, not Protestant Churches, none and that’s why they are so subjective. They have their own truths but the Catholic Church has one truth and if you’re against it, you’re objectively a heretic. Some of you watching may feel emotional at what I’m saying, but please remember that the heart is deceitful and I don’t say this with bad intentions, I want you home. Do not harden your heart from its only cure that is Catholicism.
