I was going through my phone and stumbled upon some footage from my summer trip to South Africa.

This was my first time visiting a Safari, and within the first 10 minutes, we were charged by multiple elephants to protect their young ones. This was a life-flashing-before-your-eyes kind of moment, but at the same time, I felt so alive.

The roads were almost undrivable, and a van was carrying all of our stuff directly behind our safari truck, making it extremely difficult to drive away to safety. Three minutes later, another elephant decides to charge us despite escaping the charging elephants. Some may never want to find themselves in a situation like this; however, I live for these moments.
