WEF | What firewood may tell us about the economy right now
As the orchestrated energy crisis continues across the world Europe is seeing a huge price surge in firewood as our neighbors across the sea are anticipating massive energy shortages this winter.
The WEF is also predicting 'illegal logging' and 'overharvesting', shortages of timber for building as well as touting how burning wood will cause more CO2 than road traffic and fossil fuels but will nonetheless 'nudge' it closer to 'energy independence' from Russia.
