Russia launches the "Thunder" nuclear deterrence exercise

Intercontinental ballistic missiles will be launched from Plesetsk cosmodrome and from a submarine from the waters of the Kola Peninsula to the Kura missile range during the "Thunder-2022" strategic nuclear exercise from October 26 to 29.

Long-range cruise missiles will also be fired by long-range aircraft in the Polar region, roughly from the Amderma airfield in the Nenets Autonomous District to the Pemboy range in Komi.
