2,000-amp Disconnect Switch - Fused @ 2,000A - 600V - 400A Male Camlock Plugs
The PDU-MDS-600V.3P-2000A-5XCMLK-3FTX4.0TW from Larson Electronics is a Disconnect Switch that is an accessory for power distribution systems. This 2,000-amp rated power distribution accessory acts as an overload current protection that will protect operators from overloading a transformer. Equipped with an open-bottom configuration, the PDU-MDS-600V.3P-2000A-5XCMLK-3FTX4.0TW is encased in a NEMA 3R steel enclosure and is UL listed.
The PDU-MDS-600V.3P-2000A-5XCMLK-3FTX4.0TW AC disconnect switch is rated for 2,000 amps, features a fusible interior (fused at 2,000 amps) and a safety disconnect switch. This power distribution accessory, which is constructed of steel, has a 3-pole 3-wire configuration along with a three-phase 600V AC voltage rating. Cam-lock panel connectors are available for connections to the unit. This cam set includes five per phase (brown, orange, yellow) and one cam for ground (green).
Fuses: The PDU-MDS-600V.3P-2000A-5XCMLK-3FTX4.0TW uses low-peak time delay fuses that are rated for 2,000 amps. These fuses have a time delay of 4 seconds (minimum) at 500% of the rated current and feature high-grade silica sand filler which increases the speed of the reaction to short-circuits.
Mount: The PDU-MDS-600V.3P-2000A-5XCMLK-3FTX4.0TW can be securely mounted to any flat surface. This system takes on an open-bottom configuration, which allows conduit to be passed through the floor.
