Ukrainian forces conduct preemptive strikes at Russian military in Kharkiv region

Ukrainian servicemen in Kharkiv region on Tuesday (October 25) conducted preemptive fire at Russian military positions.

Mobile Ukrainian mortar unit set out to destroy Russian APC and infantry, according to mortar battery commander, callsign “Khimik”.

“The mission was to eliminate enemy military vehicles and infantry to prevent their attack on our positions.”

“Khimik” said Russians have counter-battery systems that were capable of quickly detecting their firing positions.

“We’re working very fast while ‘migrating’: we head out, do the work, and leave the position.”
