It's harvest time. Make sure you save a few of the best fruits and vegetables you have from the heirloom varieties in your garden to grow to maturity and collect the seeds. Be your own seed supplier. With coming food shortages and seed shortages you will not want to rely on a store or company to provide you with seeds next Spring. Complete the growing cycle and save seeds on your own. You will produce genetically specific varieties that will excel in your home garden.
