The Perfect Morning Walk - English Countryside Lechlade

The historic small town of Lechlade sits in an Area of Natural Beauty on the River Thames, with good road links from all directions and within easy reach of all the Cotswold villages and English countryside.
Lechlade sits along the River Thames and gets its name from the River Leach which joins the Thames just east of the town.

Lechlade played an important part in the Cotswold Wool trade and is mentioned in the Doomsday book. The building of the Church started in about 1472 and was completed in 1476.
