You need a stock of basic clothing items on hand to last for a year in the event of a SHTF, natural disaster, grid down, etc. These items are not fancy clothing or you high speed, tier 1 operator gear. These items will also make sure your family members are less stressed out about dressing and thus reduces the amount of stress for yourself.
