Railroad Strike - Urgent Update - Shipments Already Being Halted!

Some US railroads will start halting crop, feed, and fertilizer shipments on Thursday a day before the potential railroad strike. Amtrak is also stopping all long haul trains on the 15th. Even if the strike is adverted there will be a backlog and a slow restart. Food shortages will be impacted so will fertilizer shipments to farmers, who need the fertilizer within 6 weeks. Think about a highway. One small accident or even a look-e-loo on the side of the road causes a traffic jam that takes hours to unwind. This is what halting shipments before the strike will cause.
