Bikepacking the Tuscany Trail - part 5 of 5 - The Bike Challenge

Day 5, the end. It was supposed to be a short day with a big climb going into Radicofani, after having slept a few hours due to wild camping near some wolf's den or what sounded like one near the abandoned house the night before.

We later saw the end coming near and opted to do the last push to finish on the day.
Little did we know the climbs were not finished! Maremma and their ups and downs were tough and with short steep climbs up to 26%, we definitely broke a sweat getting to Orbetello.

In the end, a massive porchetta panini and beer, then another push to the camping spot another 40 minutes away from Orbetello to end the night in a comfy bed after a long-awaited shower!
