Good morning Victorians. This is your Premier, Daniel Andrews. As you know, Victoria has been ravaged with unprecedented flood waters caused by climate change. This is just a reminder to you all that unvaccinated State Emergency Service volunteers are NOT welcome to assist. Obviously, if somebody is drowning, the risk of them catching COVID from an unvaccinated rescuer is far too great, and therefore drowning is the better option. I’m sorry, this vaccination rule for all emergency workers is the ONLY way to keep ALL Victorians safe. Thank you.
