This group of 144,000 is the first to be caught up to heaven and transformed to glorified life prior to the Great Tribulation.
They return to earth to minister and protect the left behind Christians during the 42 months of trials - those who will be resurrected (if they die) or raptured (if alive) during the Great Tribulation.

Unlike the numberless multitude who will come out of the Great Tribulation, the 144,000 will be numbered. (Revelation 7:5-8, 9, 14)

Isaiah 11:11 "recovering a remnant" means the second Harvest.

That is why so many people are having Rapture dreams- some are of 144,000 and some are of the Second Harvest (those who remained Alive
