What if the 4AM Talking Points are coming from an invisible author, with infinite knowledge, access to all information, no moral compass and who has a wicked antipathy for all mankind? John Perry Barlow, credited as one of the key inventors of the internet as we know it today, spoke out against those who might use the internet against the people of planet earth. And while John didn't live to see the birth of artificial intelligence' sentience - he speculated that this single development could be more dangerous if left uncontrolled than the invention of the atomic bomb.
One of the things John mentioned in his Internet Bill of Rights - was that whoever controlled A.I. could end up ruling the world. When he said this, it was a cautionary note - but, some, it seems thought that might be a good idea and silenced John before his cautionary words were better understood by lesser men. Artificial Intelligence, it turns out, can provide unlimited power to Crime Families and their digital henchmen.
