U.S. President Joe Biden welcomed Rishi Sunak as the new U.K. prime minister by mispronouncing his name at the White House on Monday evening during the president's speech marking the beginning of the Hindu festival of Diwali. Video of Biden's speech shows Presidnet Biden mispronouncing Rishi Sunak's name as, "Rashid Sanook." Rishi Sunak is the U.K.’s first British-Asian prime minister and the first Hindu to hold the role.
