While needing a few more tracks to finish the "Lead Burns Red" album they tapped Zach 'Hooky" Williams, frontman from Dead Eyes to help create a unique new sound. Rick Monroe & Alan Beeler had wondered what an "active rock" approach to Country would sound like, kind of is Three Days Grace wrote a country sound. Rick Monroe "The moment we got in the room the riffs started flying and "Hooky" lived up to his nick name because the song just flowed. The concept is basically we all hit hard times and you have to just push through it because nothing ever last forever."

The most unique part about this track is the use of banjo and Sweepy Walker on harmonica.
