What happens if I set up a little bit too close to the golf ball? What naturally will happen is your legs will move out of the way in the back swing. But in the downswing, to create more room, you'll end up standing up.

And what happens is my hips move toward the ball. I'll lose my posture and I'm going to end up using all hands and arms as my body's in the way. So that's definitely not what we want to do. That will definitely cause you too be inconsistent.
