There's been quite a bit of buzz lately about a new paper by Dr Aseem Malhotra, which was published in the Journal of Insulin Resistance, that he says was published after a rigorous and long peer review process and is perhaps the most important work of his career so far with implications for every human being on the planet. He has been extensively promoting the paper at antivax conferences and on some TV shows, falsely claiming that it shows a link between vaccines and cardiac arrests. In this video, Dr Susan Oliver and Cindy the dog go back to the science and show that the paper misrepresents the studies it cites and ignores most of the literature. They also demonstrate that it shouldn’t have passed peer review.
