The CREAMIEST Mac and Cheese Shells
Creamy Mac n’ Cheese Shells
•1/2 lb pasta shells, small
•3 tbsps butter
•3 tbsps flour
•3/4 cup whole milk
•1 cup heavy cream
•1 3/4 cup extra sharp white cheddar
•1/2 cup grated Parmesan
•1/2 tsp salt
•1/2 tsp black pepper
1. Cook pasta per package instructions.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour until a thick paste forms.
3. Pour in milk, heavy cream, cheeses, salt, and pepper. On medium low heat, stir the mixture continuously until a thick cheese sauce develops.
4. Remove from heat. Pour over cooked and drained shells.
