" Very bright flashing object observed " Reported by Eyewitness in Las Vegas Nevada

Eyewitness Description of Event:

I just left the grocery store and was travelling west on Lake Mead blvd. going toward 215 at Lake Mead blvd. the object observed was extremely bright and appeared to be on the edge of the mountain as if it was sitting on ground. It appeared to be flashing or pulsing very bright light. The sun was high in the sky and weather was clear. Temps were over 100f. The photo and video were taken from an iPhone 11 while driving. During the video the tree comes into view and blocks the shot. I ended the video and due to more trees I intermittently saw the object for a few moments later but eventually I was beyond the vantage point to see the object. The most interesting thing about the object was the intensity of the light being emitted as it was a very bright sunny day in Las Vegas. This was observed over BLM land that is part of Red Rock National Conservation area but it is the far north boundary of that land. I thought maybe it could be a hiker using a large mirror to signal but I don’t think anyone would be out hiking at mid day in over 100 degree temps. I drive his route regularly and have never observed this before.
