In spite of understanding what makes Bitcoin so unique, Brian Armstrong chose to betray Bitcoin in order to enrich himself and early investors in Coinbase. Rather than expanding his Bitcoin service offerings, Armstrong chose instead to list every unregistered security under the sun on his platform.

Those chickens are now coming home to roost, with the SEC investing Coinbase and large investors like Cathie Woods dumping their COIN positions.
