Cormac McCarthy's Return to SOUTHERN LITERATURE

Cormac McCarthy in his new novels "The Passenger" and "Stela Maris" returns to the south. McCarthy is from the south and set his first three novels there. But, other than that we haven't gotten glimpses of his take on the south in decades. We also haven't witnessed a more modern McCarthean take on the south before.
