Alexander Hamilton and the First Bank of the United States
This is a documentary about Alexander Hamilton starting the banking system for the newly independent United States. I made this for National History Day back around 2015-2016 when I was in high school.

This article is a secondary source that explains and shows the history of banks in the
early United States. From 1775 to today, this article covers all of the famous banks and
events that happened with banks. This book really shows the economic point of view of
the United States from the banks side.

This reference entry in the Columbia Electronic Encyclopedia, is a very interesting reference that shows the first and the second national banks from the beginning of the first national bank ( 1791) to the end of the second national bank (1836).

This article is about Jefferson and Hamilton arguing over the Revolutionary war debts and whether or not the bank should be built. It describes them both as intellectual equals, but enemies. Jefferson as an Anti-Federalist and Hamilton as a Federalist, Hamilton won the first argument, of course, and created the first bank of the U.S. Jefferson and his friends in office later destroyed him ( not literally ) to put American back on the right track, which is ironic because it brought the U.S. back on frequent financial issues.
