The Lochnagar Crater on the Somme Battlefield

Part four of my series from the battlefields of the Western Front of the Great War (WW1) in France. Today we visit Lochnagar Crater, one of the most well-known spots on the battlefield. It was the site of a massive mine detonation and the terrible fight that followed.
