Recession Proofing. Why I had to let some vehicles go...

With uncertain times on the horizon I felt it was necessary to do some much needed recession proofing before the recession actually arrived. Moon Shade found here! : https://moonfab.com/products/moonshade Now, a few months later I am so glad that I sold off a few vehicles from my fleet before the economy took a massive hit and the automotive market dipped down into unsavory territory. Its not easy letting go of our possessions and it can often be what makes or breaks people who are on the path towards financial freedom. but knowing when to cash in your chips and having the discipline to follow through usually yields high rewards. In my case, I had always dreamed of owning a high horse power Subaru Sti and I made many compelling arguments as to why it made sense for my YouTube creator lifestyle. But in reality the car was a huge financial risk, a ticking time bomb and needed to go before something catastrophic happened to either the car or the economy. I knew with its branded title i would have a hard time selling it if times became hard so after Subaru announce it discontinued the Wrx and the market when nuts momentarily, I quickly listed it for sale and didn't look back. Fast forwards a few months and the war between Russian and Ukraine has in fact disrupted the US Economy as predicted and generated loads of lay offs, budgetary cutbacks, high fuel prices and general overall less spending on luxury items like sports cars. Will I miss the car? Of course, do i regret selling it? Nah, on to bigger and better things. #recession #recessionproof
