The CDC guidance has continually changed. Many of the protocols that we thought would help at the beginning of the pandemic have been showed to not have the desired effect. And some of them, like not being able to see family members, have had arguably the opposite effect. We will ever see the CDC acknowledge that they made mistakes and apologize? Why does their current stance look a lot like the one that was advocated by many prominent virologist near the beginning of the pandemic? Stances that looked to be so outlandish but have turned out to be helpful.
